Huawei certainly knows how to build momentum about upcoming devices. As release date of its Honor 9 smartphone is approaching, more and more Honor 9 leaks are appearing online to reveal its cool features. The latest in that series is a sample image reportedly captured with Honor 9. The image was posted by Kumamoto Technology on Sienna Weibo, the Chinese equivalent of Twitter. It shows a cartoon posing next to a stylish Honor 9 box.
The box depicts two camera sensors next to the number “9”, and even the glasses worn by cartoon character resemble the look of a dual camera setup. In short, it seems to be hinting towards a dual camera setup on its back, as expected. In case you don’t know, Huawei Honor 9 is expected to come with 20 megapixel + 12 megapixel rear-facing shooter. However, nothing concrete is known yet about the front-facing camera.
In case you missed our last post, we’d like to tell you that Huawei just sent out invites for an event where it’s expected to release Honor 9, it’s next flagship smartphone. The event is on 12th of June at Shanghai Oriental Sports Center of China, and also expected to be launched at the event is a waterproof Honor Band 3.
Besides the impressive dual camera setup described above Honor 9 leaks suggest that it’ll have a 5.2-inch FHD display with Gorilla Glass protection, a front-facing fingerprint sensor and 2.4 GHz Kirin 960 chipset. Honor 9 leaks also suggest that it may replace the 3.5 mm headphone jack with a USB Type-C port, it may flaunt Magic Live UI and it may come with some high quality earphones. Finally, Honor 9 is likely to come in multiple variants: a variant of 4GB RAM with 64 GB storage, another variant of 6GB RAM with 64 GB storage and yet another variant of 6GB RAM with 128GB storage.
Now with only 4 days remaining in the launch of this device, we can expect more Honor 9 leaks to come out and reveal about the device. We’ll let you know about them as they come out, so keep checking back.
