  • Samsung Galaxy S9 confirmed by our sources to come with dual-lens camera
  • KGI analyst Ming-Chi Kuo had also been expecting the same
  • The detailed configuration of camera is still not known.

So now it’s pretty much confirmed – Samsung Galaxy S9 is also coming with a dual-camera setup. While it was already widely expected after launch of Galaxy Note 8, the things have now been confirmed by our trusted sources in Samsung’s R&D teams.

Samsung is indeed making Galaxy S9 with a dual-lens camera setup. Details of the setup are not known as of now, but we certainly know some common features expected to be a part of S9’s camera configuration.

They include Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) for both lenses, f/2.0 or higher aperture and ability to control the intensity of bokeh effect before and after capturing the photo, just like Galaxy Note 8.

It’s also worth recalling that KGI analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who is famous for his accurate predictions regarding tech industry, had also said last month that the device will indeed come with dual-lens camera setup.

However, he too couldn’t elaborate the camera configuration in detail. It’s also obvious in the next step of progression, as now company is working on some other smartphones too with similar camera setups (one of which is Galaxy C8).

Other features expected to be a part of Samsung galaxy S9 include Snapdragon 845 processor, Under Display FingerPrint sensor,  6GB/8GB of RAM, a modular design, Android 8.0 Oreo OS and bigger battery.

The display is also likely to be more bezel-less this time than it has ever been. More details about each of these features are awaited and we’ll share them with you as they leak.
