Samsung Galaxy C8 With Dual-Lens Camera Leaked Online

  • Samsung Galaxy C8 tipped to come with dual-lens camera
  • It’ll be third device from the company to come with dual primary camera
  • Galaxy C8 is likely to be launched within a few days/months.

Since last few days Samsung is on a dual-camera frenzy. The company might’ve been a bit late to the trend, but now it wants to ensure that it doesn’t fail to capitalize on it. For that reason within a few days, we’ve seen the launch of two new smartphones with dual-lens camera setups from the company (namely Galaxy Note 8 and Galaxy J7+) and leaks hint that much more are under the work. One of them, probably Galaxy C8, has just leaked online confirming that another dual-camera smartphone from the company is in the offing.

However, perhaps more interesting is the fact that this time Samsung is going to align its dual camera setup vertically instead of horizontally as seen in Galaxy Note 8. The pixel configuration of both lenses is also likely to be different with one of them being a 12mp shooter and another being a 5mp one. You can see the images of leaked promotional material below, which were first published by SamMobile.

Besides this dual camera setup, the device is expected to come with a fingerprint scanner embedded in the front facing Home button.

It’s also worth pointing out that the model number of the device is SM-C7100, which has leaked earlier as well and was expected to be named Galaxy C7 2017 till now. But now it looks that Samsung wants to go a step ahead in the naming scheme for this handset and name it Galaxy C8 instead.

Based on those previous leaks it’s expected that the device will come with a 5.5-inch Full-HD display, MediaTek Helio P20 MT6757 octa-core processor, 3GB/4GB RAM options and 16mp of a front-facing camera. The device is also likely to offer 32GB and 64GB storage options.

Samsung Galaxy C8 may be coming very soon as it has already been certified by Wi-Fi Alliance (WFA), Chinese TENAA and Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG). So we’re likely to come to know about it very soon.
