The world of Hogwarts Legacy is full of tributes and references to both the books and movies of Harry Potter. You can find all of the Easter eggs, secret interactions, & hidden details around Hogwarts, Hogsmeade, and the Highlands in the list below.
Talking mirrors:
You can find these talking mirrors in bathrooms as well as other rooms. Sometimes they will tell us how we look, but other times they will just mess with us. The fact that Harry Potter had to deal with these mirrors before we did in Hogwarts Legacy makes them an Easter egg.
Magical sweets:
In the third Harry Potter movie, “Harry Potter as well as the Prisoner of Azkaban,” Harry, Ron, and some of their Gryffindor classmates eat sweets that make them act like animals, like a lion or even the Hogwarts Express. But you can also discover these sweets in Hogwarts Legacy, in the village of Hogsmeade, at Honeydukes, a candy store.
The Hogwarts motto:
Fans of Harry Potter will know that “Never tickle a sleeping dragon” is Hogwarts’ motto. Avalanche, on the other hand, wanted to honour this motto with a mural of a man waking up a dragon.

The Goblet of Fire container is in the trophy room at Hogwarts. This is a tournament that we saw in Harry Potter, but it is much older than we thought.

Someone left a Poly-juice Potion brewing in the girls’ bathroom close to the Professor Fig’s classroom. This is a reference to when Hermione makes the very same potion in the Chamber of Secrets.

Chamber of Secrets Entrance:
If you go into the girl’s Slytherin bathroom, you could really find the sink with the snake symbol on it. This is the same sink that Harry had to use Parseltongue on to open the secret door to the Chamber of Secrets.
