Why Samsung Galaxy S8 is better than LG G6

As the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 plus are launched recently, we can say that the flagship Smartphone for Samsung for 2017 is a killer. But we cannot forget the earlier launched LG G6 which also has a great hardware and specification which can be great if not perfect for a normal human being.

Both the LG G6 and Samsung S8/S8 Plus has a never seen before screen ratio which is a great evolution for a smartphone I must say. If you are updated on tech news, then I don’t have to tell you about the screen ratios of these two flagship Smartphones.

The price of these two smartphones are somehow different, and Samsung gets the tag of the more expensive one over the LG G6. So today I’m going to run down some information on what makes Samsung Galaxy S8 better than LG G6.

  1. Wireless Charging – Yes I know that LG G6 has a wireless charging feature, but that is only limited to US and Canadian customers. Anywhere other than US and Canada will not have the wireless charging feature. That is where Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 plus takes advantage.
  1. More security options –Samsung Galaxy S8/S8 plus have Iris scanner and facial recognition feature which the LG G6 doesn’t have. Both the extra security feature present on Galaxy S8 works pretty well.
  1. More powerful processor –Samsung Galaxy S8/S8 plus is powered by Snapdragon 835, and for some other countries, the exynos8995 chip is what powering the smartphone. Samsung Galaxy S8/S8 plus processor are based on 10nm manufacturing process while LG G6 is still running on 14 nm Snapdragon 821 chipset which is aging.
  1. Base Storage – Samsung Flagship Smartphone for 2017 have 64GB as standard while the US and Canadian customer who are getting the LG G6 will have 32 GB as the only storage option.
