How To Obtain The Ton-berry Glamour From Hatching Tide Event In Final Fantasy XIV:
Easter is coming up, and like most holidays, Final Fantasy XIV does have an EGG-cellent event for players to love as well as earn some cool rewards. This time, players are able to obtain a fancy new Glamour set that looks like the cute as well as slightly creepy Ton-berry.
Getting the season’s treats is pretty easy, but it does take a few steps. This is how most things work in FFXIV. This guide will tell you how to obtain the Ton-berry Glamour established in Final Fantasy XIV.
When Do These Things End?
The event runs from now until April 10, 2023, at 7:59 a.m. PDT/14:59 p.m. GMT. As usual, you can’t turn in entries for seasonal events after the event is over, so make sure to finish everything before then.
We have everything you need to know about this year’s event as well as how to obtain all the new items right here.
How To Get The Tonberry Glamour:
After you finish the quest “Go ahead and use the Knife,” you’ll get the quest “Chaos, Carnage, as well as Eggs.” For this quest, you have to take part in a FATE called “Don’t be Sylphish.”
You can do this FATE as many times as you require in order to gather Special Midnight Archon Eggs, which are the currency for such seasonal vendor during Hatching-tide.
Once you’ve done that, go to Mih Khetto’s Amphitheatre throughout Old Gridania and speak to the Dreamer Egg Advocate (X: 10.2, Y: 9.1). Each piece of the Glamour set will be sold by this merchant for an event currency called Special Midnight Archon Eggs.
This currency is received by completing the seasonal fate during the questline. You’ll have to do this fate a couple extra times to get enough money to buy the whole set.
The story is pretty easy to figure out. All you have to do is avoid getting attacked by enemies as well as collect as many Archon Eggs as you can to give to the NPC in Fate before the clock runs out.
You’ll get some special Midnight Archon Eggs when you finish the fate. Like most Fates, you may have to wait a little while for it to start, but it shouldn’t be more than a few minutes. To get the whole set of Glamour, you’ll need ten eggs, since each piece costs two.
Players can use their egg currency to buy more than just the Ton-berry Glamour.
For example, the Pa Paya De-mastered Orchestrion Roll costs three eggs, the Hippity Hoppity Hatching Tide Advertisement Furnishing costs two eggs, and a stack of 10 Magicked Prism Hatching Tide costs one egg. When they finish the seasonal questline, they can also get the Frighten emote.
