How To Find Kiuyoyou Shrine And Finish It In Tears Of The Kingdom:
Within The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, finding and completing the shrines are important tasks. Not only do they teach you how different game features work in an interesting way, but they also give you useful fast travel points and Blessings of Light.
Tears of the Kingdom is a part of The Legend of Zelda. Kiuyoyou Shrine happens to be one of those locations where you’ll kick yourself after you know what to do.
But, like many shrines within The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, it’s not very clear at the start that this will test your capacity for problem-solving, so it’s not surprising that people are having trouble with the tasks it has.
This shrine is to the west of Hyrule Forest. It seems like an odd place to learn about the science of ice, but that is exactly what it does. If you want to get the Blessing of Light from this shrine, you’ll have to deal with huge ice blocks, fire sources, and a cool slide made of dangerous spikes.
The Kiuyoyou Shrine Is Located At:
You might see the Kiuyoyou Shrine on the way back from Rito Village. It is within the Great Hyrule Forest, just east of the Tabantha Tundra. It’s on a small hill on the Rowan Plain, near the coordinates -1106, 2089, as well as 0104.
Steps To Finish Kiuyoyou Shrine:
When you walk into this shrine, you’ll see the exit right away, but it’s locked behind an entrance that you have to open. On your right, there’s a big flame generator next to a button, and on your left, there’s an ice block next to another button.
The ice block is too big to fit in the nook to hold down the button, so first use Ultrahand to pick it up and put it within the flames for just a few seconds. This will make the ice melt slightly, making it tiny enough for placement in the nook. This will make it easier to move forward.
In the next room, there is a constant gust of wind that shoots up into the atmosphere, a ramp made of spikes, as well as a machine that makes ice blocks at the top.
Ride the updraft with your paraglider to get to the next level. Now you can see what’s going on a jet of flame is always melting the ice blocks.
Put the big plate that is close by ahead of the flame jets. If you have a slightly melted block of ice left, either melt the rest of it within the fire or throw it over the edge, because we need a solid block of ice.
Take The Block Of Ice And Put It On The Ground Outside The Small Pit:
Take the big block of ice and put it on the ground outside the small pit, away from any fire that might start when the big metal plate is taken off. Once you’ve done this, put the metal plate on top of the ice block and screw it in place.
If you put the ice block and metal plate together on the hooked ramp, it will roll down to the lower level. Glide down and join them.
Take the ice block to the initial set of flame sources and put it on top of the button below, with the metal plate on top. The metal plate will keep the fire from melting the ice, so you can easily push down on the button to finish the shrine and open the door.
Keep In Mind:
Don’t worry if you melt the ice cube all the way; you’ll get another one.
