Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 is coming in second half of this year. However, now some of its features have (almost) been confirmed in a Geekbench listing. We also know that the device is going to be even more bezel-less than its predecessor. We also know about many of its features, but only on the base of rumors.
That’s true! Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 just hit this popular benchmarking site, and its impressive results confirm many expectations about its features. The smartphone is indeed going to come with 1.9 GHz Snapdragon 835 processor, 6GB of RAM and Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS. You can see the original listing below:
So now we know at least four things that are confirmed about this smartphone – its whopping 93% screen-to-body ratio, processor, RAM and OS. The other expected features include a screen-embedded fingerprint sensor and a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2K pixels. 4GB and 8GB RAM versions of Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 are also expected, and so are a 19mp rear facing the dual-lens camera and 16mp front facing the camera. In short, it’s a smartphone that can spoil the party of almost any major flagship!
Now, it’ll be interesting to see when this device is launched. Its predecessor was launched in November, so that seems a likely timing, but before that iPhone 8 and Google Pixel 2 is coming so Xiaomi may also advance the launch timing this year. But whenever it’s launched, one thing is certainly gonna happen – it’s going to be the second most attention to grab device this year after iPhone 8.
