Geovishap Hatchlings drop Bone Shards that are easy to break. These are the stone monsters in the world that look like hedgehogs. They like to hang out in places with a lot of nodes and in certain places like Tianqiu Valley.

How To Get Fragile Bone Shards:

Fragile Bone Shards can only be found in loot drops after Vishaps is killed. You can find these dragon-like mobs in Liyue as well as the underwater realm of Enkanomiya in Inazuma. They come in Geo and Hydro versions, each with a different type of mob, including an Elite version that acts like a mini-boss.

Liyue:

There are several good places to farm Vishaps in Liyue. In this area, they are of the Geo variety, which gives them strong shields and makes them hard to beat physically. There are three different kinds.

  2. Geovishap Hatchling
  3. Primo Geovishap

The best places to find groups of Geovishaps are north of Mt. Aocang, in Tianqiu Valley, in Nantiamen, & near the top of Mt. Tianheng in the north. You could also go after the boss marked with an arrow, who is Primo Geovishap, if you think your party is powerful enough.

Enkanomiya:

Vishaps with the Hydro, Cryo, & Electro elements all live in the underwater world of Enkanomiya. Because of this, it’s a good idea to bring a strong Pyro DPS with you so you can use their Elemental Reactions to your advantage.

But don’t go too far, because if they can get a lot of these things at once, they could indeed turn the fight against you. All of the different types of enemies in Enkanomiya are called Bathysmal Vishaps as a whole.

  3. Primordial Bathysmal Vishap (Hydro)

There are a lot of Vishaps in the area, allowing you to farm them in The Narrows to the north, The Serpent’s Bowels to the west, Evernight Temple to the east, and Serpent’s Heart to the south.

You could also take on the boss pair of Coral Defenders marked with an arrow, but watch out for their two different types.
