Total War: Warhammer III announced by SEGA Europe

The Total War: Warhammer saga is back with a third episode! Yes, on this magnificent Wednesday, February 3, SEGA Europe and Creative Assembly announced the great return of the license, and to top it all off, they even unveiled the first trailer. The latter is available above!

Total War: Warhammer, the saga which has recorded more than 34 million copies sold around the world, is therefore back with a third opus called Total War: Warhammer III. This new adventure intends to shed light on a new cataclysmic conflict that mixes the powers of the demons of ruin and those of the mortal world’s sentries.

It will offer players the opportunity to explore the Eastern Territories as well as the Realms of Chaos. “Our goal from the start was to create a series of games that would take players on an incredible journey through this world we all love so much.”

The tremendous support shown by players made the first two games a success and took our ambitions to the next level, which is why we can’t wait for everyone to experience this third installment. Ian Roxburgh, Director of Total War: Warhammer III”

Of course, who says new opus says new races! In addition to the different races available in the first two episodes, players will be able to play as the Kislev and Cathay races and the Chaos factions, namely Khorne, Nurgle, Slaanesh, and Tzeentch.

“The know-how, involvement, and loyalty to the world of Warhammer that Creative Assembly has shown over the years while working on the illustrious Total War franchise: Warhammer have made Games Workshop happy and that of fans of the whole world.”

“Creating and growing the Cathay and Kislev armies for this project has been a lot of fun for our developers, and we look forward to seeing them in action in this colossal third installment. Jon Gillard, Global Head of Licensing”

In Total War: Warhammer III, players will face an important choice: embody this or that faction to either save a dying god or harness the latter’s powers.

Best of all, Total War: Warhammer III is already available for pre-order on Steam or the Epic Games Store. Everything is priced at € 59.99 and will be available in 2021.
