The Fan of PlayStation 5 Will Be Optimized With Online Updates

One thing is sure that there are so many players and fans who may have missed the beefy internal fan. Yes, there is a beefy internal fan in the all-new and recently released PlayStation 5 that is capable enough of functioning as a part of the entire cooling process for the next-gen gaming console.

You must have watched several unboxing and tear down videos of the PlayStation 5 gaming console. But the recent PlayStation 5 Tear Down video that Sony Interactive Entertainment did release focusses on the beefy internal fan especially well.

The physical fan will remain just the same it is in the near future but there might be something that the brand can do about it.

Sony hints in the recent teardown video that the company is intending to provide online updates on how it will be optimized based on the data that it collects from the Accelerated Processing Unit (APU).

Yasuhiro Ootori who happens to be the VP, Mechanical Design Dept, Hardware Design Division, in Sony Interactive Entertainment mentions it. Yasuhiro says. “Various games will be released in the future, and data on the APU’s behavior in each game will be collected.”

In a recent interview with 4Gamer.net, Yasuhiro mentions, “We have a plan to optimize the fan control based on this data.”

You must know that Yasuhiro Ootori is the same person that did manage to lead the PlayStation 5 Tear Down Video.

So it is sure that if there is any person who will have proper knowledge about Sony’s future plans about the internal fan issue then it will definitely by him.

All the players are currently hoping that the next-gen gaming console will work efficiently and better even though there is a beefy internal fan present in it.
