Prince of Persia: The Sand of Time Remake is postponed again

Prince of Persia: The Sand of Time Remake is postponed again.

Initially expected for January 21, 2021, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake is finally postponed last December to March 18, 2021, which is unfortunately no longer relevant.

Yep, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake is once again postponed, but this time around to an undetermined date.

This new postponement aims to allow developers to offer a title that matches the original game first released in 2003 and meets player expectations.

“Since the announcement of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake in September, we’ve seen a flurry of comments from you on this popular franchise. It’s your passion and support that drive our development teams to create the best game possible.”

“That said, we have decided to postpone the release of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake to a later date. This additional development time will allow our teams to deliver a fresh remake while remaining true to the original.”

“We understand that the update may come as a surprise, and we will continue to update you on the progress of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake. In the meantime, we would like to thank you all for your continued support.”

As a reminder, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake is expected on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

It should also be noted that a Nintendo Switch version was also listed by mistake on the Ubisoft Store, but the French company has never formalized the latter. Stay tuned for the next update.
