In Hogwarts Legacy, Every Potion’s Components Are Listed:
In Hogwarts Legacy, potions are the best weapons to employ in combat when all of your potent spells are on cool-down. One benefit of them is that they may offer extra life when needed, but some of them can also momentarily increase your player’s stats and shorten the duration of certain spells. Yet, you may have to make your own potions using their components, so they are not always readily available. The ingredients for each potion in Hogwarts Legacy are listed below.
The majority of Hogwarts Legacy involves combat. After all, danger may be found everywhere. There is more to this game than just using plants to repel foes; certain plants are also necessary components for concocting potions or making equipment.
Making potions:
Until you have taken your first Potions Lesson at Hogwarts and gained access to Potions Stations, you cannot create any potions. Then, with the proper components, you may make Edurus and Wiggenweld Potions. There are five more sorts of potions that may be produced, but in order to do so, the necessary ingredients must be purchased from J. Pippin’s Potions in Hogsmeade. Here, you may find a list of all the potions, their uses, and the ingredients required to prepare them.
Use Of Potion And Ingredients:
POTION NAME | USE OF POTION | INGREDIENTS |
Edurus Potion | Improves defense | 1 Ashwinder Eggs, 1 Mongrel Fur |
Wiggenweld Potion | Restore health | 1 Horklump Juice, 1 Dittany Leaves |
Focus Potion | Reduces all spell cooldown | 1 Lacewing Flies, 1 Fluxweed Stem, 1 Dugbog Tongue |
Maximus Potion | Increases all spell damage | 1 Leech Juice, 1 Spider Fang |
Invisibility Potion | Makes your character invisible | 1 Leaping Toadstool Caps, 1 Knotgrass Sprig, 1 Troll Bogeys |
Thunderbew Potion | Stuns and damages nearby enemies | 1 Leech Juice, 1 Shrivelfig Fruit, 1 Stench of the Dead |
Felix Felicis | Reveals the location of large chests | 1 Lacewing Flies, 1 Fluxweed Stem |
You could also be fortunate and find these potions already prepared inside of chests that have been strewn throughout the environment, although this is not something that happens very often. Instead, you should prepare to search open regions for the materials a potion requires. Nevertheless, some resources, such as Dittany Leaves, are only developed after taking lessons such as Herbology.
Ptions Effect:
Ption | Effect |
Edurus potion | Drinking this potion grants the player increased defense by covering them with a durable rocky skin. |
Wiggenweld potion | This potion helps to heal the player by restoring some of their health. |
Invisibility potion | The drinker of this potion will turn invisible which causes all enemies that previously noticed them to now lose sight of them. The player will then be imperceptible to enemies for a period of time while the effects of this potion are active. |
Maxima potion | This potion increases the damage that the player deals through casting spells for a period of time. |
Focus potion | Drinking this will reduce the cooldown period for the player’s spells. This will thus allow them to perform spells more quickly and efficiently. |
Thunderbrew potion | Players can summon a powerful storm that surrounds their character to both stun and deal damage against enemies by drinking this potion. |
Felix Felicis potion | This potion can be utilized to grant the player luck in the form of revealing all gear chests on their mini-map for an entire in-game day to make exploring in Hogwarts Legacy especially rewarding for that day. |
Recipes For Making Potions:
While buying potions is a good choice for those who are in urgent need of them, doing so will rapidly turn into an expensive chore that will need players to continuously spend a significant number of galleons on it. If you want to get your hands on any potions in Hogwarts Legacy, your best bet is to either buy the recipes or educate yourself on how to make them yourself and then brew them.
You will have to firstly obtain the Room of Requirement in order to make your own potions. After you have done so, you will be able to use a potion station and cultivate your own ingredients. When you have, you will need to make sure you have all of the necessary resources, as well as buy a variety of pots to grow ingredients, before proceeding to the brewing station to prepare whatever potion you desire.
