In Hogwarts Legacy, How Do You Solve The Bell Tower Courtyard Door Riddle In The Library Annex And The North Hall Door Mystery In The Astronomy Wing?
After completing The Caretaker’s Lunar Lament quest in Hogwarts Legacy, you may begin using the Alohomora spell to open Level I doors, allowing you to explore previously inaccessible regions of the Hogwarts Witchcraft and Wizardry School. One of these spaces is the Lengthy Gallery, which, as the name suggests, is a long corridor filled with artworks. The Long Gallery has one end near the Potions Classroom Floo Flame and the other near the Bell Tower Courtyard Floo Flame. There’s an Arithmetician puzzle door at the Bell Tower Courtyard end, and you’ll need to perform some arithmetic to unlock it.
To Open The Long Gallery Puzzle Door, Follow These Steps:
Have you seen the creature symbols surrounding the door? Those correspond to the numerals 0 to 9, from left to right. So, whenever you see a creature symbol, it signifies a number between 0 to 9. To open the Bell Tower puzzle door, you must make all of the numbers on the triangles’ points sum up to the numbers in the triangles’ centers. To accomplish so, roll the triangles towards the door until the creature icon that completes each formula appears.
The top triangle says spider (8) + 12 +? = 22, implying that the “?” must be 2, as indicated by the dragon monster image. So, roll the “?” triangle to the left of the entrance until a dragon monster icon appears.
Because squid (7) + unicorn (1) +?? = 9 in the bottom triangle, the “??” must be another unicorn. Locate the “?” triangle to the right of the entrance, close to the stuffed troll, & roll it until a unicorn creature icon appears. The door will now open, allowing you to get goodies such as the Gorgon Portrait field guide page and the Ruins Conjuration.
In The Astronomy Wing, Here’s How To Solve The North Hall Door Puzzle:
The North Hall is a structure in the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft & Wizardry’s Astronomy Wing. The North Hall does not have its own Floo Flame, although it is extremely near to the Transfiguration Classroom Floo Flame. The North Hall is accessible from the start of the game, however it has a few internal locked doors that are only unlocked after learning the Alohomora lock-picking spell during The Caretaker’s Lunar Lament major narrative mission. One of these closed doors is on the top level of the North Hall, and it leads to a lengthy corridor with one of the school’s Arithmetician puzzle doors at the far end.
The creature images on the entrance arch, from left to right, symbolize the numbers 0 to 9, as well as the triangles painted on the door itself are 2 equations that must be solved in order to open the door. Rolling the triangles embedded into the walls around the entrance reveals the creature icon that symbolizes the missing digits in the “?” and “??” places on the door.
Because 2 + dragon (2) +? = 10 in the top triangle, the “?” must be 6. The salamander creature symbol indicates 6, therefore roll the “?” triangle to the left of the entrance until a salamander creature icon appears.
Because the bottom triangle says 3 + 1 +?? = 7, the “??” must be 3, as indicated by the hydra monster image. So, roll the “??” triangle to the right of the entrance until a hydra monster icon appears. When you unlock the door, you’ll discover the Ruined High Stairway Conjuration in the tiny chest and some cool stuff in the huge chest.
