In the Hogwarts Legacy side quest “The Thief in the Night,” you’ll have to find out what goes on in a small village when night falls.
When you work on this quest, you need to make sure the time is set to night, and there are a few things you need to do to finish this investigation. Here’s what you need to know to finish the Hogwarts Legacy story A Thief in the Night.
There are a lot of side characters in Hogwarts Legacy who will give you missions. In the side quest A Thief in the Night, you have to help Padraic Haggarty discover a thief who stole a valuable item. He thinks that his sister Catrin is the one who did it because she works for Victor Rook-wood.
The open world of Hogwarts Legacy is huge and full of collectibles, side quests, & fantastic beasts that the player can find and capture. Even though these beasts have their own side content, they often interact with other people in the world. This can lead to unique side quests where other characters deal with beasts in different ways than the player.
When you reach level 20, you can start this side quest. To figure out what’s going on, you have to check out the area at night. To do this, you’ll need to follow a trail of coins across two camps. First beat the enemies, then find the person who did it.
How To Finish Reading A Thief In The Night:
When you go to Irondale, a small town south of Hogwarts in the Feldcroft Region, you can find this quest. You have to talk to a non-player character to start this quest, and then you have to wait until night to start working on it.
There will be a lot of gold coins on the ground when you get to the stall. You’ll need to pick these up and follow them to the next area. Because the coins are close to the ground as well as hard to see, it can be hard to follow them. We suggest using Revelio to make them stand out.
You should be able to go west with these coins and cross the river to get to the bandit camp, a Merlin Trial, and a Treasure Vault. From here, keep going down the big cliffside until you are almost to the Feldcroft Catacomb. The location needs to be southeast of this fast travel, which will lead you to a Niffler den and show that they are the ones who did it.
Now you need to catch a Niffler with the Nab-Sack to prove it was a Niffler. After that, you need to climb to the top of the Niffler den & find the heirloom. You can now go back to Irondale and talk to Pádraic Haggarty to finish the quest.
