How To Find The Trident Of Dark Tides In Sea Of Thieves And How To Use It:
Sea of Thieves: A Pirate’s Life adds a lot of new ideas for story quests, yet numerous new items as well as other features are also in the main game.
One of these is the Trident of Dark Tides, an item that can be used as a weapon. When fighting AI or player enemies, it’s like the Ashen Winds skull, but instead of breathing fire, it blows deadly bubbles.
Sea of Thieves is a huge open-world game in which players take on the role of a pirate and go on exciting and novel adventures while exploring.
The game has a huge open world where players can explore unspoiled islands, sunken ships, & mysterious artefacts. They can look for lost treasure, face Skeleton Captains who are cursed, and protect valuable Trading Company cargo.
How The Trident Of Dark Tides Works:
The Trident of Dark Tides is a long-range weapon that shoots bubbles in any direction. Hold down the fire button (left-click on your mouse is the default) to start charging a shot.
Your bubble grows to one of 3 sizes as it charges. Larger bubbles take longer to shoot, but if they hit an enemy, they do more damage. You can target by holding down the secondary fire button, which is usually the right mouse button.
Like the Ashen Winds Skull, you could indeed tell how much firepower is left in the Trident of Dark Tides by how brightly the gem glows. If you wish to start shooting bubbles at enemies after it runs out of power, you’ll have to substitute something else.
Locate The Trident Of Dark Tides:
The Trident of Dark Tides would be available in A Pirate’s Life Tall Tales, but there are many ways to find and get one or more of these staffs in the main adventure mode. Here are some of the ways we and other people in the community have discovered the Trident of Dark Tides.
- Defeating a Siren Leader
- Sinking a Skeleton Ship
- Finding one in a shipwreck
- Opening a Skeleton Fort vault
- Found randomly washed up on a beach
Instructions:
Remember that you have to carry this item around with you. You can’t sprint or do anything else, not even with your own inventory, while you’re using the Trident of Dark Tides.
But you can put it on the ground in the event that you require your hands for something else or if you want another player to take it for their own use. To shoot bubbles with the Trident, you have to hold down the main fire button or trigger. When you let go, a bubble will come out.
If you hold down the alt fire button or trigger, your Trident will be pointed forward and ready.
You can shoot enemies with 3 different levels of bubbles, all of which depend on how long you hold the main fire button. Smaller bubbles are nice for hitting enemies directly and for situations with a lot of pressure.
Some damage will be done by bubbles that are about this size. Lastly, the biggest bubble you could indeed make will do more damage and send you back farther.
The blue crystal shows that the Trident can only hold so much power. As the blue light goes out, so does your bubble “ammo.” Your staff would also start to lose their color and turn grey.
When the Trident has lost all of its power, it will fall apart in your hands. To be clear, you can’t even sell the Trident of Dark Tides to any Trading Company.
Can You Sell:
No, you can’t sell the Trident of Dark Tides to any Sea of Thieves vendor for either gold or reputation.
