How To Call The First Valheim Boss

How To Call The First Valheim Boss:

Valheim has more than just bones and boars. There are also strange creatures in the region that you can call to help you fight. These are the game’s bosses.

They drop rare items and must be killed in order to move on in the game. This guide will show you how to call Eikthyr, who is the first boss in Valheim.

Who Is Valheim’s First Boss?

The very first boss that players face in Valheim is Eikthyr. You can call this boss by putting two trophies of deer on the mysterious alter in the Meadow biome.

Bosses in Valheim can be hard to deal with if you aren’t ready. You have a lot of time to gather resources and make gear & food to keep you healthy before you have to face these dangerous Vikings from the afterlife.

What is the number of Bosses in Valheim?

There are 6 major bosses, and each one shows up in a different biome in the world that is made by a set of rules. Each boss also needs a different set of resources and strategies to be brought into battle.

Valheim Boss Order:

As you move thru the Viking afterlife, you’ll find new biomes, and to move on to the next one, you’ll have to beat the boss of each one.

Even though it is technically possible to beat some of these bosses out of order, you won’t be able to stay alive in the biome they live in if you haven’t unlocked the assets you need yet.

Where Is Eikthyr?

The very first boss you’ll face in Valheim is Eikthyr. Each boss can only be summoned at its own type of magical altar. The only way to find out where these altars are is to interact with Vegvisir runestones, which are small glowing red stones you can find near man-made structures on the map of Valheim.

But with Eikthyr, you don’t have to look for it. The Vegvisir of Eikthyr is always at spawn and is part of the circle of stones at the center of the world that represent the Forsaken. Just use this small red runestone, as well as a marker will be put on the map over Eikthyr’s Mystical Altar.

Where To Summon The Boss:

When you first spawn in Valheim, immediately interact with the red stone next to you. This will mark the first boss’s summoning location on your map. Make your way to the marked location. It’s best to set up camp in between these two spots, as you will often go back and forth.

What To Sacrifice:

When you reach the summoning area, interact with the glowing red rock and note what it says. Above it will be a stone animal; this is the animal you will need to sacrifice to summon the boss.

You won’t be sacrificing their meat, however. In Valheim, every time you defeat an enemy, there is a chance a trophy will drop. This summoning circle calls for deer trophies.

The best way to kill deer is with a bow. However, you need leather to craft a bow, so you might not have the required materials. Deer scare easily, but you can sneak behind them and wack them with your ax.

Kill as many as necessary to collect two trophies. Once you have the trophies, return to the summoning circle.

How To bring Eikthyr To You:

To call Eikthyr, you have to discover the altar and put two trophies of dead deer on it. You do this by putting the deer trophies on your hotbar and afterwards pressing the number key that goes with them while your cursor is on the altar.

You can hunt and kill deer in the Meadows, the first biome of Valheim, to get deer trophies. It’s not an assured drop, so you might have to murder more than 2 deer to get 2 deer trophies. If a deer has one or two stars next to its health bar, it is more likely to drop a deer trophy.

Once you have 2 of these deer heads, you can put them on the magical altar to call Eikthyr. A few seconds later, Eikthyr will appear, as well as the boss fight would then start.

How to Call Eikthyr Using a Controller (Xbox): Valheim is now accessible on Xbox systems and may be downloaded as part of Xbox Game Pass. Valheim has support for controllers on Xbox platforms, but the text hasn’t been completely changed away from keyboard controls.

For example, in the Eikthyr battle, the stone table says that the player must offer 1–8, but it doesn’t say what these numbers mean on a controller.

Eikthyr’s Attacks:

Eikthyr has three ways to hurt. It can attack from a long way away by shooting electricity from its antlers. It will rear up & stomp its front legs down for an electrical attack that affects a wide area. As a close-range attack, it can also ram with its antlers.

Something Else:

  1. Two trophies of deer are needed to call them.
  2. Boss power: Lessens the amount of stamina needed to run and jump.
  3. Hard antlers that can be used to make a pickaxe, and an Eikthyr trophy
