Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty’s Release Date, New Skill Trees, And All Trailers

Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty’s Release Date, New Skill Trees, And All Trailers:

The news of Cyberpunk 2077’s update, “Phantom Liberty,” has brought back the huge buzz around CD Projekt Red’s future sandbox monster. Details about the expansion’s release and more were shown at the Xbox Showcase.

Now that the Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty release date is public, we can’t wait for the update to add a spy-thriller story to our Night City experiences.

You’ll be asked to go back to Night City as a cyber-enhanced assassin. The high-stakes tasks you’ll be given will put you up against seasoned pros, so you’d better be ready to put it all on the line.

Phantom Liberty is the first big addition to Cyberpunk 2077. The President of the New United States of America crashed in Dog-town, a new part of Night City that players can check out.

But until now, we didn’t know much about what Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty would be like. Now, thanks to a new release date trailer that came out at Summer Game Fest, we know more about what to expect, which is why it’s quickly becoming one of our most expected games of 2023. So far, here’s what we know:

When Will Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty Be Out?

After the Xbox Showcase 2023, it was decided that Phantom Liberty would come out on September 26. This is a little earlier than what was first thought. Some people thought it might come out in the winter of 2023, and many thought it would come out within November or December of that year.

In the newest Phantom Liberty trailer, we get a first look at Dog-town. Keanu Reeves is back as Johnny Silver-hand, and Idris Elba is back as FIA Agent Solomon Reed.

Reed will be an important part of the game. He will help the player’s V finish the task and save the President.

Phantom Liberty Skill Trees As Well As Gear Of Cyberpunk 2077:

Phantom Liberty will add new gear and a new skill tree. Unfortunately, these information have not been made public. We should hear more about them closer than the September 2023 publication date, likely before the close of summer.

Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty Price Tag:

Fans were hoping that the Phantom Liberty DLC was going to be free, like the new Edgerunners DLC. However, this is not the case.

Pre-orders for the planned DLC have begun through the CD Projekt Red website and on devices that support it. Players will be able to buy it for $30 as a paid add-on to the main game.

Information About The Plot Of Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty:

CD Projekt Red says that Phantom Liberty was a new spy story for the Cyberpunk 2077 game. Players will come back as cyber-enhanced soldiers V and go on a high-stakes quest of spying as well as intrigue to reclaim the NUS President.

In the dangerous neighborhood of Dog-town, they have to find ways to work together despite broken bonds and shady political dealings.

The new video for the DLC starts with an NUSA intelligence analyst called Songbird talking to V and offering to help them get better if they’ll assist the NUSA with a very important task.

The video shows a brand-new part of Night City and some of the tools players will be able to use. Idris Elba is also revealed to be an NUSA secret spy named Solomon Reed. It seems that Solomon Reed is not as trustworthy to be Johnny Silver-hand.

In this secret thriller, the Samurai Rockstar comes back to the story and helps V find his way through the chaos. This will give players new ways to play the game that they have never had before.

CD Projekt Red says that the DLC will give players a new skill tree and new powers to use to be brawlers, netrunners, or cruel assassins.

In the old videos, Silver-hand may also be heard scolding the main character V after he or she takes a promise to “faithfully service the newly formed United States of America.”

Teasers For Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty:

Punks in Night City have seen three videos in which the main character, V, makes a questionable pledge to the United United States of America. You’ll go on a high-stakes mission of spying and intrigue as a cyber-enhanced soldier named V to save the NUSA president.

Set within the dangerous neighborhood of Dog-town, you’re going to have to make new relationships with a group of dangerous and strange characters.

During the new journey through Night City, you’ll meet a lot of different people, like Idris Elba’s FIA secret spy Solomon Reed.

It has also been said that the new patch will include new tasks, gigs, weapons, cars, tech, cyber-ware, as well as a new relic skill tree which lets you change your play style even more.

Also, on the 12th of June 2023, CD Projekt released a long film that went into detail about the planned Phantom Liberty DLC.

In it, the people who made the game talk about Dog-town, which Kurt Hansen changed from “Combat Zone.” They talk regarding the character and what inspired the setting itself.

But that’s not all. The 18-minute film also talks about other people you might see, like President Myers,

Gameplay Of Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty:

Even though we’ve seen two videos for Phantom Liberty, both of which show a lot of in-progress in-game content instead of CGI as well as animation, we still don’t know much about the game’s core gameplay.

We have the bare the bones, and we’ve taken a short walk around Dog-town so we know where our narrative takes place, but we don’t know much about how missions will go.

The newest parts of the game have to do with V’s huge arsenal. Since Dog-town doesn’t follow the rules and ideals of the rest of Night City, there are a lot of illegal weapons and goods to find within its walls.

But plenty of new mechanics as well as features that can be used throughout the expansion, as well as new cyber-ware as well as weapons, have been highlighted.

This includes a whole new skill tree to make sure V is always in top shape in a world full of hustlers, smart netrunners, and more mercenaries who want to make money and gain power.

Dog-town might be tough, but the main character in Phantom Liberty has to be harder. At the Xbox Extended Showcase, a three-minute rundown was shown.

Pawl Sasko, the Quest Director, shows us around Dog-town’s Black Market. This is where V can get all of the new upgrades, cyber-ware, and weapons he will need for his gigs and tasks.

In the same summary, we are told that the actions are more realistic, lively, and varied, which represented one of the biggest complaints players had about Cyberpunk 2077 when it first came out.

Overall, we’ve been told to expect Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty to offer an enhanced sense of immersion while building on the foundations set by 2077.

Based on the trailers we’ve seen, it could end up being one of the best PC games if it delivers and can run smoothly at those much-desired high resolutions.
