Apple releases iOS and iPadOS 14.4.2 with an important security fix

Apple has released the latest iOS update 14.4.2 version to their users to fix some exposed possibilities of being attacked or harms found in the previous update.
So in order to fix these security issues, they have released a 14.4.2 update. This update will fix the security flaw in Webkit, which is the browser engine used in the Safari web browser.
Apple has accepted their security issue and released an iOS 14.4.2, iPad 14.4.2, and watchOS 7.3.3 latest update to fix this Webkit.

Apple has mentioned in the support page about this security issue has found in the Webkit and which is used in iPhone 6s, iPad Pro, iPad Air 2, iPad 5th generation, iPad mini 4 and iPod touch 7th generation.
Apple mentioned that this would lead to universal cross-site scripting. Apple has released the latest iOS update 14.2.2 version to the iPhone 6s users to fix this Webkit.
For iPad users using iPad Pro, iPad Air 2, iPad 5th generation users, iPad mini 4 has released the latest update 14.2.2 version. So if you wanna download the latest update then go to settings and select the Software update option and click on install now.
If you’re an iPhone 5s, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPad Air, iPad mini 2, iPad mini 3, and iPod touch 6th generation user then you need to update your device with the latest iOS 12.5.2 version.
And in the coming days, Apple has planned to bring an iOS update 14.5 and they reported that the update will bring additional new emojis on the COVID-19 vaccine. And they also planned to replace the headphone emoji with AirPods Max emoji.
In the 14.5 Beta version, Apple is working to reduce the appearance of the dim glow which appears while reducing brightness level in black background.
And now, Apple has released the latest 14.4.2 update version for iOS and iPadOS users which will provide some important security updates to all Apple users.

This security issue is reported by the improved management of object lifetimes. CVE – 2021 – 1879: Clement Lecigne of Google Threat Analysis Group and Billy Leonard of Google Threat Analysis Group.
