  7. The global lighting system’s memory leak has been repaired.

Controllers:

  1. Updates to the Switch Pro controller’s support HL-346.

Upscale:

  1. Enable frame creation when DLSS is turned off.
  2. When utilizing DLSS rather than Super Resolution, anti-aliasing & screen resolution adjustments are disabled.

Ray-tracing:

  1. The problem of RTAO seeming worse than SSAO has been resolved.
  2. The default setting has been changed to Medium Quality.

Stability and Performance:

  1. Compilation optimization for shaders.
  2. Updates to shader compilation speed and functionality.
  3. A crash that was hurting Text2Speech usability has been fixed.
  4. Resolved difficulties with world assets being extended suddenly, which fixes the following reported problems HL-305 and HL-265.
  5. Fixed an issue where NVIDIA GPU had a worse frame rate than AMD GPU.

Version 12 of Direct X:

  1. Please note Direct X Version 12 is needed to run Hogwarts Legacy on PC. We do not recommend using workarounds to run the game with Direct X Version 11, as this might create stability problems with game startup and user experience.

The creators stated in a statement that this PlayStation 5 update would contain “the repair for the ‘Collector’s Edition’ Trophy,” which many gamer have been unable to obtain.
