Zoom on Rozy, this virtual influencer who accumulates contracts

At 22, Rozy is an influencer well in her time who perfectly reproduces the codes of her profession. With a hundred contracts to her credit, her success is even dazzling for this Korean who launched in December 2020 and should have earned more than 850,000 dollars by the end of the year. But Rozy above all has one essential asset that sets it apart from the competition: it only exists virtually and was created via artificial intelligence.

Ikea relies on virtual influencers

Baek Seung Yeop, CEO of Sidus Studio X, is behind this project. Quoted by Allkpop, he goes over the strengths of virtual influencers:

Nowadays, celebrities are sometimes removed from the dramas they were filming because of school violence scandals or controversies. On the other hand, virtual humans don’t have to worry about these issues.

The leader is also quite proud of Rozy: “ We didn’t use a specific person as a model for their look. Gen Z don’t like to hide their flaws or reveal them. We also did not take western beauty as the standard of beauty. »

He also nurtures ambitious projects for the influencer who could soon shoot films, series, or participate in entertainment shows.

On a more general level, we can see that artificial models have become even more prevalent since the start of the pandemic. While humans were deprived of travel, their virtual competitors were not subject to any spatio-temporal limits.

Remember that many brands are already using virtual influencers. To cite just one example, last year we told you about Ikea’s strategy, which launched an advertising campaign in Japan with the Imma avatar. She already has nearly 350,000 subscribers on Instagram.
