We have never been so close to the second season of Loki. Among the various MCU series that we have been able to discover so far, the one dedicated to the God of Malice is the only one to be entitled to a new burst of episodes. We have known for a year now that Loki will be back soon. Kevin Feige has just announced two good news that will please fans.
New for Loki!
This Monday, the president of Marvel Studios had fun teasing fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Filming the second season of Loki should begin in the coming weeks. For this new vintage, the entire cast should be there. Something to reassure more than one! We will thus find Tom Hiddleston, Owen Wilson, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Sophia Di Martino and Wunmi Mosaku in season 2 of Loki.
However, behind the cameras it will be a little different. Indeed, we already know that the creative team will not be the same. Michael Waldron, who wrote the script for the first season of Loki but also that of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, passes the baton to Eric Martin. The latter has already worked on the first season but also on the series Heels.
Same thing with the directors. Kate Herron hands over to Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead. According to Kevin Feige is thrilled: “The creative team is fantastic. As Tom has already said [Hiddelston]there is still a lot of mischief to come”. Thus, there is nothing to worry about. These changes should not affect the quality of this next season. At least, we hope so.
For the moment, we do not know more about the continuation of Loki except that the plot will indeed be attached to the latest MCU film, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. It remains to be seen if Jonathan Majors will be there. The latter embodied a variant of Kang the Conqueror, the next great antagonist of the MCU that we will find in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.
The icing on the cake, Kevin Feige said that Loki is the most-watched Marvel series on Disney+before WandaVision, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and even in front Moon Knight. This first trip in the multiverse has, it seems, convinced the fans. All you have to do is take your troubles patiently before discovering the second season of the series dedicated to the (mis)adventures of the God of Malice.
