The first leak came on Weibo in form of an image showing the rear of the device. If that image holds any weight, Mi 5X seems to be inspired by iPhone 7 Plus in terms of design. It sports similar horizontal dual-camera setup on its back with the flash module and both lenses aligned horizontally, just like they’re in iPhone 7 Plus.

The volume rocker and power button both are on right side, and there’s a curved metal unibody design. An aesthetically compelling antennae band similar to iPhone 7 Plus is also present, which adds up to the similarities between this smartphone and Apple’s thing.

But besides this image one more thing related to this smartphone has leaked online, confirming other aspects of this phone besides design. It’s a promotional poster of the device, printed in Chinese that’s proudly touting about 5.5-inches large Full-HD display, Snapdragon 625 processor and 4GB of RAM.

The price of device printed on the poster is 1999 Yuan (around $295), which roughly translates to Rs. 19,000.

The Xiaomi Mi 5X runs Android 7.1.1 and is powered by a 3680mAh non-removable battery. It measures 155.40 x 75.80 x 7.30 (height x width x thickness) and weighs 165.00 grams. Nougat. 1. Xiaomi Mi 5X is a device with very good look. Its camera is very well. It is fantastic mobile in very cheap price. I like that device.

  2. I’ve used a lot of smartphones, many with 1440p displays, and despite that I’m very happy with the screen resolution

  3. Xiaomi power button tend to spoil easily, I would suggest installing a screen lock widget, now I hardly use the physical power button, unless for a screenshot which is a very rare occasion
