It is now a tradition. Each year, Google announces its new software (and sometimes some products) during its now famous Google I/O.
For the 2022 edition, the American created a surprise by unveiling a series of products intended to compete with those of Apple. But while waiting for their release, the speakers multiplied the announcements (often boring) on the software improvements.
Like every year, the star of the evening was Android, the operating system installed on several billion phones on the planet. The new Android 13 version does not bring major upheavals but expands an already very attractive interface. Google is therefore improving by small touches a recipe that it largely overhauled last year with Android 12.
More which smartphones will be able to benefit from this new Android 13 update? Pixels, of course, will be in the spotlight, but still? We take stock mark by mark.
