Which Hogwarts Legacy House is the most well-known?
Many players are very proud of the house they think they would be put in if they went to Hogwarts. Whether you belong to Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, or Slytherin, your house says a lot about who you are.
With all of that in mind, how do the numbers work out to show which Hogwarts Legacy players chose which house? Here is Hogwarts Legacy’s most popular house. Hogwarts Legacy lets players experience the whole Harry Potter world, including going to Hogwarts, flying on broomsticks, and going on adventures in the magical world.
But being able to choose your own house is one of the most looked forward to parts of the game. Like in the movies and books, the Sorting Hat would then look at your personality and put you in a house based on that.
When you start Hogwarts Legacy, the sorting hat would then put you in one of four houses, Gryffindor, Slytherin, Ravenclaw, or Hufflepuff. Being in a house is more than just wearing certain colors, it also changes parts of your game-play to give you a unique experience that fits the house you’re in.
This IGN wiki guide tells you what the main difference is between the Hogwarts houses as well as how to decide which one to join.
Which House Is The Most Well-Known?
The only big difference between House Sorting in Hogwarts Legacy and other games is that you can change your house if you don’t like the one you chose at first. You’ll be put into a house based on how you answer certain questions in the game.
You might be curious to know which houses have been chosen the most and least since the game came out. Let’s look more closely at how well-liked each house is.
Here is how many Xbox players have earned the achievement that goes with each house.
Slytherin – 34.95%.
Gryffindor – 32.40%
Ravenclaw – 23.59%
Hufflepuff – 17.29%
And here are the odds of getting the PlayStation trophies:
Slytherin – 25.86%
Ravenclaw – 24.952%
Gryffindor – 23.98%
Hufflepuff – 16.97%
Since Slytherin and Gryffindor are the two most common houses in the Harry Potter movies, it’s no surprise that they have a lot of characters. Still, it’s surprising to see so many PlayStation users choose Ravenclaw.
Of course, these numbers could be skewed by people playing the game more than once to get all of the achievements or trophies, and we’re not even looking at PC numbers here.
Hufflepuff seems to be the least popular house in Hogwarts Legacy right now. It is far behind Slytherin, Gryffindor , and Ravenclaw. But it seems likely that a lot more players will choose Hufflepuff now that it’s been confirmed that it has an exclusive quest that lets players go to Azkaban to witness the Patronus charm in action.
Differences Between The Legacy Houses At Hogwarts:
You can join one of four houses at Hogwarts. While each house is different, it’s important to know that, with the exception of one main quest, most of what you do will still be the same no matter which house you choose. The most important differences are.
- Your chosen house will be shown by the House Colors on some of your gear.
- Your house is the only one that has access to your Common Room as well as a Floo Flame fast travel point.
- More getting to know other fifth-year students in your house and making new friends.
- Some extra words that might refer to your house
Depending on which house a player is in, the quest that leads to meeting Richard Jackdaw will indeed be different.
- On The Hunt for the Missing Pages, Gryffindor students will meet Nearly Headless Nick & join the Headless Hunt.
- Ravenclaw students start the hunt for Ollivander’s Heirloom, where you’ll look into The Owlery.
- Students in Slytherin will help Scrope by following a series of map clues to find Headmaster Black’s house elf and a secret grotto.
- In order to solve a murder mystery, Hufflepuff students look for a Prisoner of Love, which means they have to go to the notorious Azkhaban Prison.
There don’t seem to be any perks, bonuses, or companions that are only available in one house. No matter what house you’re in, you’ll be able to make friends, go on quests, and even team up with 5th year students from any house. Some of them will even have their own quest-lines that don’t depend on you being in the same house as them.
