Vivo Probably Working on X20 and X20 Plus Mid-Range Smartphones

It seems that Vivo is all set to refresh its mid-range smartphone line in the coming months, albeit with devices whose names are unpredictable.

We already know that company had recently launched its X9s and X9s Plus smartphones with dual front cameras, and now company may add another great offering to its mid-range smartphone lineup by the end of this year. And no, the devices that company is going to add won’t be called X11 and X11 Plus – instead, they may be called X20 and X20 Plus. Why? The reason is unclear as of now.

This update has been provided by Android Headlines from citation of an unnamed source. And while there’s no more detail revealed by that source about the device as of now, it has been reported by the site that both these smartphones may be launched later this year around the holiday season.

Now, in case you don’t know, a few days ago an image had leaked which was supposed to be showing company’s upcoming X11 smartphone.

The image showed a device with very thin bezels just like the ones that we’ve seen in LG G6, which is a significant departure from the design language of its predecessor X9. If X11 is indeed going to be known as X20, then that image may well be the representative of this mid-range smartphone actually.

In a nutshell, there’s a possibility that we’ve already seen the first glimpse of this X20 thing.

Besides this narrow-bezel design we can expect the device to come with a mid-range Snapdragon chip, most probably SD 660, which is the best offering from Qualcomm for mid-range smartphones as of now.

The RAM included may be 4GB, and Android version is certainly likely to be 7.1.1 Nougat. With these expectations let’s hope for some more leaks so we can accurately paint the picture of what company has in store.
