Two weapons from Call of Duty: Vanguard arrived early in Warzone. These have been added to the Armory, but they cannot be unlocked or used yet.
Warzone Season 6 has arrived and has brought a variety of content for players to enjoy Warzone / Cold War one last time.
Whether it’s the two new weapons of the reworked Gulag or even the Haunting of Verdansk event there will be something for everyone.
However, two unexpected new additions have been included in the patch. Indeed season 6 took the players completely by surprise.
Vanguard’s STG 44 and M1 Garand added to Warzone
These two Vanguard weapons have appeared in the menus of the armory. Unfortunately they are not available to be unlocked or personalized.
While we still don’t have a confirmed release date for Warzone’s integration with Vanguard, Raven Software hasn’t been shy about adding two iconic WWII weapons to the game.
The M1 Garand and the STG 44 appeared with a description and the tag ‘Vanguard’.
Despite this, the weapons are locked and there are no details on the challenge or level that will be required to use them. This will likely come at a later date when they are fully unleashed in the BR.
Regardless, the appearance of these new weapons has sparked enthusiasm in the community. It also reminds us that Warzone’s Vanguard update is on the horizon.

It’s unclear why Raven decided to add these two specific weapons.
Unless they plan to release them before the Vanguard patch.
