The MAC-10 has held a prominent place in the Warzone meta for several seasons, but it may be time to ditch it and choose an oft-overlooked weapon, the PPSh.
When it comes to choosing an SMG in Warzone Season 5, the majority of players will go for the Bullfrog or the MAC-10. While there are plenty of other options, these two weapons have been established as the meta choices.
Unfortunately, the popularity of these weapons has led to many other SMGs being overlooked. And this despite the fact that some of them have the potential to compete with the top spots.
One of them, in particular, is the PPSh. According to Warzone’s popular YouTuber TrueGameData, it should even replace your MAC-10 in Trios and Quads.
This class of PPSh could replace MAC-10 in Warzone
While the MAC-10 and the PPSh are very similar SMGs, TrueGameData explains exactly why it might be time to put the MAC aside.
If we consider the damage per magazine, the PPSh is above. This allows you to finish off two enemies without reloading.
This is not the case with the MAC-10 and it forces players to use a throwing knife in Trios and Quads to finish off opponents. It is this huge advantage that led TrueGameData to place the PPSh above the MAC-10.
However, if you want to get the most out of this overlooked SMG, it’s essential that you have first-class cargo to go with it:
- Mouth : GRU suppressor
- Telescope : Microflex LED
- Cannon accessory : Patrol grip
- Laser : Projector Team Tiger
- Munitions : Spetsnaz Drum Magazine 71 cartridges
The above loadout focuses on maximizing mobility and damage. It which allows you to attack your opponents aggressively and easily engage in close combat clashes.
While the PPSh doesn’t have the MAC-10’s rate of fire, its TTK makes taking down enemies incredibly easy, as long as you get your shots right.
