The denouement of season 2 of The Mandalorian was marked by the return of an iconic character from the Star Wars saga: Luke Skywalker. Indeed, a new episode Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian will be broadcast on August 25 on the platform of the famous mouse. As a reminder, this name designates a documentary series of eight episodes going back and forth on the backstage and the underside of The Mandalorian. Round tables moderated by Jon Favreau, interviews, technologies mobilized, influences, links with the saga… The aim was to tackle a multitude of subjects related to the series.

Still, the return of Luke in the final episode was not mentioned in this documentary program. This will soon be done in the next episode entitled “Making of the Season 2 Finale ». This will focus on the technology used to recreate Luke Skywalker.
In addition, we will learn more about Mark Hamill’s involvement in the creative process. But also on the immense pressure inherent in such a cameo, the filmmakers having been responsible for “Bring back one of the most important characters in the history of cinema”, reads the press release.
After having pulverized the dark troopers with class, Luke had revealed his identity to Din Djarin. He then took in Grogu in order to train him in the Force.
