In Minecraft, all nine kinds of wood are the same. Wood is useful in the game whether you are building a campfire or putting fuel in a furnace. But you can’t say the same about how each wood looks.
Depending on what you like in terms of color or shape, some tree logs might look pretty good, while others might look terrible. Compatibility with the way other blocks look is also very important.

Huge Crimson Fungus:
It used to be impossible to get wood in the Nether, but since the 1.16 Nether update, new Nether biomes have made it possible to gather resources in some Nether biomes as well.
The Huge Crimson Fungus is a red tree that could be discovered in the Crimson Forest biome in the Nether. This biome is often full of Piglins and Hoglins, which makes it a pretty dangerous place to go.
The Fungus is really a mushroom that has risen into a tree, so it’s not really a tree. But when it’s mined, it drops “logs” that can be turned into planks, so it’s on this list.
The Crimson Fungus is different from other types of wood in the game because it is red. Some players might like this unusual texture, but most of the time it’s too strange to use in building or decorating. In fact, it’s probably best for building in the Nether.
The Mangrove Wood:

Huge Warped Fungus:
The second type of “tree” that can be discovered in the Nether such days is the Huge Warped Fungus. It looks just like its cousin Crimson. The only difference is that it has different primary colors.
It looks weird and turquoise, which makes it hard for using in almost anything unless players are very creative. Its strange color could go with something else that is also turquoise, like prismarine, but even prismarine is not a very common choice for a building block.
To get this type of wood, players must travel to the Nether and find a Warped Forest biome. This is one of the advantages of choosing this type of wood, since players can travel through this biome very safely as long as they keep their eyes down.
Endermen live in the biome, and they don’t do anything if the player doesn’t put their crosshair on their heads to make them angry.
Dark Oak Wood In Minecraft:
As its name suggests, dark oak is a dark color that looks a bit like cocoa. Because this wood is such a dark shade of brown, it’s hard to see why it would be used for base structures.
However, the chocolate-like color makes dark oak feel warm and friendly, like meeting a friendly hermit or witch in a forest hut. So, this Minecraft wood block comes in at number 5 on our list.
Acacia Wood:
At first glance, acacia wood might not seem very exciting or interesting. But when you look more closely, you can see that the waxy orange color of the planks & inner logs goes very well with the grey bark of the wood.
To be clear, acacia trees aren’t anything special, but the difference in color between the amber-orange planks as well as the ash bark makes them feel almost magical. So, this type of wood is great for temples or homes with a touch of the Far East.
The Jungle:
Jungle wood is a kind of gateway to other, more interesting types of wood. Even though it’s a bit peachy and orange in color, it’s just different enough but not too different that it can work in many situations.
