She has three arms and legs and can help you in many different ways. But some players say that when Virginia runs away, she goes away because of a bug. If you’re one of them, keep reading and we’ll tell you how to respawn Virginia in Sons of the Forest after she dies.
The Children of the Forest A common problem is the disappearing bug in Virginia. Unfortunately, this woman with three arms and three legs has a tendency to get stuck or just disappear.
This can happen because of a bug, but most of the time, Virginia goes missing for a good reason. There are a few methods to get your friend back, which is good news.
Sons of the Forest has one of the most interesting survival games you can find. You are put in a dangerous place and have to figure out how to stay alive, either by yourself or with the help of friends & AI companions.
The latter aren’t always as reliable as you’d like, though, and Virginia can go missing for long periods of time with no clear way to find her. There are ways around this, though, which is why we’re here with a guidance on how to solve the Virginia Glitch in Sons of the Forest.
How To Get Virginia Back:
Before you start trying to figure out the answers, you should know that Virginia usually runs away when you hit her. This is because she doesn’t like being hit in any way, and if you do, she will run into the woods.
In these situations, you either have to find Virginia or wait for her to come back to you on her own. Follow the steps below if you didn’t locate her anyplace and she hasn’t come back.
The First Way:
The very first way you need to do is go back to your camp or base & sleep. This will let you skip to the next day, by which time Virginia may have forgiven you. We suggest that you go to sleep at least twice or three times and wait for Virginia to come back.
You’ll need to be patient throughout the whole thing, because she might not come back for a while. So, keep doing your usual things while you wait for her to come back.
The Second Way:
One of the fastest ways to get Virginia back is to restart Sons of Forest. Go to your camp to save the game before you do this. Make sure you don’t overwrite your last save, because that will put you in a bad situation.
Instead, make a new one so you can still get to the old one if this doesn’t work. When you’re done, close the game and open it again. If you play the game for a while, Virginia should come back.
The Third Way:
If you’ve tried everything and still can’t find Virginia, you should go back to when you didn’t have anything against her. To put it another way, you need to load your last save.
But keep in mind that you’ll lose all the progress you made following the final time you saved the game. If you want your three-legged friend to come back, you will have to make this sacrifice.
The Fourth Way:
In Sons of the Forest, if you don’t want to lose Virginia, you can put a GPS tracker on her. Holding the E key will open the NPC inventory. Press Q or R to go to the menu of weapons.
Move your mouse over the top GPS tracker and click on it with your left mouse button to put it on Virginia. So, you can use the portable map to find her. The “Every Move You Make” achievement will also be unlocked.
If Virginia Goes Away, Can You Get Your Gear Back?
If this bug can’t be fixed in Sons of the Forest, it should also be made clear that you are unable to get any stuff back from Virginia.
You can get new stuff that might be stuck in Virginia’s inventory, which is good news. If you hang around long enough, most weapons and gear will come back.
