Samsung announces new Rose Pink color option for Galaxy S8+ in Taiwan

New Pink Shade for Galaxy S8+

It seems that Samsung is busy playing with colors these days. After rebranding its existing color choices of Galaxy S8+ for some unknown reason now Korean giant has launched a new Rose Pink version of its latest flagship in Taiwan. The shade is so stunning that women are gonna love it, and Sammy is also not shying from positioning it as a women-focused color choice. However, there’re two twists in the story:

  • First is that this version will be available in Taiwan only – ladies in rest of the world have been left out in cold, and we don’t know why! May be Samsung can change its mind later.
  • And second is that even in Taiwan it’ll be available for a limited period only.

At least for now things are that way. So if you live in Taiwan, you love pink and for that very reason you didn’t find any of the remaining five color options good enough, here’s your chance to get yourself a pink phone with powerful specs.

All other things of the phone remain exactly the same. It’s still a smartphone with 6.2-inches large Infinity display, Snapdragon 835 processor and 64GB of internal storage. The device will be available in Taiwan from next month, and it’ll cost TW 27,000 (around $920).

Galaxy S8+ is already available in five vibrant color options: Coral Blue, Midnight Black, Arctic Silver, Maple Gold and Orchid Gray. For some reason Samsung also decided recently to rebrand 3 of these color options. Coral Blue was made Ice Lake Blue, Orchid Gray became Smoked Purple Gray and Maple Gold was renamed to Quicksand Gold. And now this new Rose Pink thing has been revealed. Would you like to purchase it if it’s made available out of Taiwan in your country? Share your thoughts in the comments.
