Razer has just announced new headphones for gamers, the Hammerhead True Wireless X. On the program, a low latency of 60 ms as well as a rich and immersive sound thanks to custom 13 mm speakers. But not only since they also embed the latest wireless technologies of the moment.
Razer just unveiled a new version of its famous headphones Hammerhead, this time in true wireless. These are the Razer Hammerhead True Wireless X. These new headphones are available now from the Razer store and most traditional retailers for 89,99 euros.

As indicated Razer on its product page, the Hammerhead True Wireless X take advantage of a low latency gaming mode of 60ms, where, for comparison, Apple’s AirPods show nearly 274ms. The latter can be deactivated by pressing three times and holding the last press for two seconds on one of the two earbuds. You will hear the beep announcing “Gaming Mode” confirming that this mode has been activated.
In terms of technology, these new headphones take advantage of the latest, with the integration of Bluetooth 5.2, Auto-Pairing and Google Fast Pair for Android. We also find LED backlit touch controls. These are customizable on each earpiece to access several functions such as call management, volume control or activation of low latency mode.

On the technical characteristics of its product sheet, Razer promises a 28-hour battery life without LED lighting and 24 hours with, enough to last a whole day. In terms of design, there are 13mm speakers, which Razer refers to as “custom”, without further details.
Finally, the Hammerhead True Wireless X can be connected to the app Razer Audio, free on Android and iOS. The latter provides quick access to headphone settings and features, control audio preferences, download the latest firmware updates, and more. But also to customize the LEDs, for example.
