With a release date set for December 22, 2021, The Matrix: Resurrections will be found very soon in our dark rooms. In the meantime, the Warner Bros. just uploaded two teasers for the film today, ahead of a full trailer to be released tomorrow, Thursday.

Teasers appear on the website What is The Matrix. This one features the most familiar pick of the movie franchise, a wink which is sure to please fans of the franchise.

Red pill or blue pill?

By clicking on the red pill, a video is launched. We see a few images of the code green where numbers and hiragana blend together and descend vertically – did you know this is from a Japanese recipe book? -, some passages where we find Carrie-Anne Moss as Trinity, Keanu Reeves as Neo, as well as the new cast member: Yahya Abdul-Mateen II.

A voice-over directed at the viewer then comes out loud to say what time it is at that precise moment and how ” it could be the first day of the rest of your life, but if you want it you have to fight for it “. A small passage particularly striking.

The Blue Pill teaser features another new cast member, Jonathan Groff, who berates you for ” having lost the ability to discern fact from fiction “. We then see many blue pills. ” It becomes a problem when fantasies endanger us. We don’t want anyone to be hurt, do we? Groff’s voice-over concludes.

Either way, these two teasers are particularly exciting and we can’t wait to check out the first trailer. As a reminder, the first full trailer will be released on Thursday, September 9, at 3 p.m. in France. And as for the film, The Matrix: Resurrections will be released for Christmas on December 22, 2021.

So, red pill or blue pill?
