In Avengers and Thor: The Dark World, Loki is almost always pictured with a helmet featuring two huge horns on top. But why is the God of Mischief of the Marvel Cinematic Universe displaying these horns? What is the significance of this strange helmet? According to Tom Hiddleston himself, the series Loki coming to Disney + on June 9 will shed light on this big question.

We’ll soon know why Loki owns this horned helmet.

« People wanted to know more about the horns. I remember Said Tom Hiddleston in an interview with Murphy’s Multiverse. « There was the question of when does Loki wear these horns and more importantly why is he wearing them. Is it a ceremonial thing, or is it somehow an extension of an emotional intention? Does he become particularly malicious at such times? ” He added.

« Anyway, it was rather interesting to hear these questions from outside people. But don’t worry, over time everything will become clear »He concluded. In other words, Tom Hiddleston implies that the series Loki will answer this question. Presumably, his helmet is not a simple ceremonial costume that would serve to demonstrate his mischievous personality. It could be something else, a tool, an extension of itself. We will see.
