How To Utilize An Astronomy Table In The Hogwarts Legacy Game:
In Hogwarts Legacy, Astronomy Class is a major story quest where you learn how to utilize astronomy tables. Except that no one ever shows you how to use one.
This means that when you and fellow astronomy student Amit Thakkar find your first astronomy table at the Hogwarts Wizardry and Witchcraft School, it might be hard to figure out how to use it. The great news is that it’s easy to use an astronomy table, even if it’s not always clear how.
In Hogwarts Legacy, as you fly around the World Map, you will come across a lot of different puzzles & dungeons. Astronomy tables are one of the most common puzzles.
You have to match up the shape of a constellation with the real stars in the sky. They’re pretty easy to solve, and every time you do, you can get a lot of experience points. But you have to unlock the astronomy tables first before you can do these puzzles.
How To Utilize The Star Chart:
The Astronomy Class quest happens a long way into the Hogwarts Legacy story, so by this point you’re probably used to figuring out which spells work with which objects and which don’t. So you could be forgiven for believing that you have to cast a certain spell at or near the astronomy table for it to work.
Even more so because when you get close to it, no button prompts show up. You might also think that the astronomy table must interact with something else, but when you use Revelio, nothing useful shows up.
But to use an astronomy table, you don’t actually need to use magic or anything else. Just press the Square/X button when you’re next to the table, but you have to be on the exact right side of the table to get the button prompt. This is confusing because most small interactable objects in Hogwarts Legacy can be used from any side, but the astronomy tables are an exception.
On one side of the astronomy table, there is a post with a groove in the top of it. Go up to that post & press Square/X to move your telescope into the groove. Next, you just have to move, turn, & zoom the telescope until the star pattern on the lens matches the one in the sky.
How To Get Access To Astronomy Table:
You won’t be able to use the astronomy tables till the you finish the main quest for the Astronomy class. This is one of the first things you can get in Hogwarts Legacy. This is one of the best PC games & Xbox games because it has so many fun side quests & puzzles, like the astronomy tables.
