Casting Stupefy:
You can’t just use stun like you would your basic attack spell. You can only use it after you’ve cast Protego, your protection spell. You could use Protego by holding down the defense button & putting up a shield around yourself. This shield will protect you from any damage that comes your way.
If you use the shield right before an enemy attack, it will keep your character from getting hurt. But if you hold down the Protego shield and block an attack, your character will utilize the Stupefy spell to stun the attacker.
To use Stupefy, you have to hold down the Protego button. On PC, the default keybinding for Protego is “Q,” and on the controller, it’s either Triangle or Y. While you’re still holding down the Protego button, you need to focus on one enemy and afterwards press your basic spell cast button.
