How To Obtain Utilize Sticky Bait In Valheim:
To capture Giant Herrings in the Swamp biome of Valheim, you need a special lure called Sticky Fishing Bait. Herrings like to eat stinky worms, which are what this lure is made of. Giant Herrings can be “made” into Raw Fish, which is used in Cooked Fish & Fish Wraps. This is the same for other fish in the Nordic landscapes.
But most adventurers want to catch a Giant Herring for its unique Trophy, which they can put in the hall of their base camp. You don’t need any special gear to get into the Swamp, but it might be hard to get the materials you need to make Sticky Fishing Bait.
How to Make Bait to Fish:
Through crafting, you’ll be able to improve your Fishing Bait. If you use the bait you have to catch a new type of fish, you’ll be able to make the next biome’s Fishing Bait recipe. You need a Cauldron to make Fishing Bait. It doesn’t require any upgrades.

How To Make Sticky Fish Bait:
In Valheim, you need 20 Fishing Bait and 1 Abomination Trophy to make Sticky Fishing Bait. People who know about fishing know that basic fishing bait can’t be made, but it can be bought from Haldor, the Dwarven Trader of the Black Forest. He sells stacks of 20 Fishing Bait for 10 Coins each.
You can find Coins in random Treasure Chests, Dungeons, Troll Caves, Fuling Villages, & Troll Villages. You can also get a lot of gold from selling things to Haldor. On the other hand, it is anything but easy to get an Abomination Trophy.
You might have run into Abomination while exploring the Swamp biomes of Valheim. Abomination is a huge tree-like monster that acts like a tree trunk until its prey comes close. Taking down an Abomination could be very hard, especially for newer adventurers, if you aren’t good at parrying or don’t have a good ranged weapon.
In the Swamp, the wet and muddy ground will slow you down, but an Abomination can move quickly and smash its prey into the mud with its huge legs. To fight these dangerous animals, you should find a place where they can’t reach you and fire projectiles at them to kill them slowly.
Once you have an Abomination Trophy, you could mix it with Fishing Bait at a Cauldron in Valheim to make Sticky Fishing Bait.

How to Sell Things to the Trader:
To sell something to the Valheim Merchant, all you have to do is push a button. When you push that button, all of the items in your inventory that can be sold will be sold. You don’t have to worry about selling your equipment or anything else by accident, either, because the Merchant is only interested in vendor trash.
Where Do You Look for Things To Sell:
Valheim Merchant buys Amber, Amber Pearls, Rubies, as well as Silver Necklaces. There are a few places in the game world where you can find these:
