Even though it has its own level of horror, tough bosses, powers, & weapons, there are some parts of the game that are meant to make up for all the fighting you’ll have to do, and other parts are just meant to make you think with their puzzle-like quests.

The Glass Darkly is one of these puzzles. So, what is this strange thing, and how might you finish it? In the next article, we’ll talk about all of these. Atomic Heart is out now, and many gamer are taking a break from their normal lives to try out this Soviet dystopian world.

In this game, you will have to do more than just shoot and plan how to fight. You will also have to solve puzzles.

How To Finish A Glass Darkly

When you get close to the exhibition, you’ll have to push a mirror to access the main door. To do this, you have to pull any of the mirrors out with your glove till it locks to the side. The mechanism, however, is broken, so you have to jump into to the hole underneath it to enter the lock as well as fix it.

After you drop down, you’ll find yourself in a maze of robot prototypes positioned in a way that makes them look like they belong everywhere. As soon as you walk through the door, you’ll probably run into your first magnet wall puzzle.

How To Solve Puzzles Of Magnets:

Soon after you begin the “A Glass, Darkly” quest, you will be in a tiny room with electromagnet on the ceiling. The game tells you how to use your Shock capacity to turn them off and switch their positive and negative poles, depending on what you need at the time.

Shake the magnets in the tiny room to turn them from positive to negative. This will make mobile electromagnetic clusters appear, which you can use to climb up to the next floor.

Room No.1:

In the next room, you’ll need to use a platform to get to the left edge of the space and fix some other laser mystery before you can move on. Find the answer to the puzzle below.

Room No. 2:

Before you can move forward, you have to kill 2 enemies, open a door, and fix a common laser puzzle. When this is done, you will be back in a big room with moving magnets on the ceiling and on the floor. Follow in out step-by-step guide to successfully complete this part as quickly as you can.

Get on the blue cluster on the same level to your right. Jump down to a red cluster on a lower level. Set the magnets on the ceiling to the negative side by using shock, then jump to a low-level blue cluster. Use Shock once more to make the ceiling magnets positive again.

You will move up to a new level in which you’ll have to fix another laser puzzle. When you figure out how to solve the laser puzzle, jump to a low-level red cluster and charge the magnets on the ceiling to go back to negative. Jump onto a blue cluster in the middle of the screen that is stuck between 2 other high clusters.

Cast Shake the magnets on the ceiling again, jump to a red platform in the middle of the screen, and then jump to the exit platform with a door.

Room No.3:

As soon as you enter the third room, go straight to the blue cluster right in front of you. Look to your right as well as flip the ceiling magnetic materials there from positive to negative.

Then jump to a blue platform in the middle of the screen. In this room, there will be small parties of magnets that you’re able to control separately. If you turn one group positive or negative, it won’t affect the other magnets.

Change the magnets above you from negative to positive, and then jump onto a narrow part of a group of magnets in front of you. Jump on the platform with the dead body that isn’t moving.

When you look up, you’ll see a platform linked to a big group that is moving. Zap the magnets to make them negative again, as well as jump onto the platform you were told about that is now in reach. It will be blue.

Get to a stationary platform linked to the wall and jump down to a blue cluster from there. Set the magnets directly above you to positive by using Shock on them. This will let you move to another blue cluster, from which you can move to a red platform at a lower level. You can jump from it onto a platform that leads to a door.

Last Room:

You’ll have to solve another laser puzzle before you can move on to the next room. When you get to this room, go down to the ground floor. While you’re on it, look for something that looks like a high fence.

Zap the magnets above it to make them negative, and the cluster next to that fence will go down. Stand on it, and the magnets will switch back to being positive.

Move to the platform with a dead robot on it that you can’t move, and again set the magnets to negative. You’ll see a blue platform in front of you, and you’ll have to jump to get there. Once you’re on it, switch the magnets on the ceiling back to positive. Now comes the hard part: you have to jump down on a limited platform that looks like such a wall.

Once you’re standing on that wall, jump down on the other side as well as stand on a red platform. Change the magnets above you from positive to negative, jump down on the blue platform next to you, and switch the magnets on the ceiling back to negative. You will now be standing facing an open door that leads to the conclusion of the “A Glass, Darkly” quest.
