With what to fry chicken
With a release date set for October 7, Far Cry 6 is not very far. Now is the perfect time for Ubisoft to step up the marketing machine by focusing on the biggest attraction of the game: the presence of Giancarlo Esposito who embodies the new antagonist, Anton Castillo, “The cruelest villain he has ever embodied”.
In a series of videos, Esposito stages himself in his costume dictator of Yara and exposes some elements of the game, including the need to fight for one’s freedom with makeshift weapons assemblies of odds and ends. See Gustave Fring de Breaking Bad assembler a flamethrower artisanathe something strangely satisfying. This same flamethrower that will be included in the Collector’s version of the game.
Despite the very forgettable Far Cry: New Dawn and its post-apocalyptic twist, Far Cry 6 wants to continue to focus on resourcefulness via Dani and his band of guerrillas, offering ever more bizarre weapons, such as the famous CD launcher who blast the Macarena (obviously reserved for pre-orders).
Finally, the last video answers “questions that everyone is asking”, as on the astonishing theory which estimates that Diego, the son of Anton Castillo, would actually Vase Montenegro, the famous villain of Far Cry 3 played by Michael Mando (which gives the retort to Giancarlo Esposito in Better Caul Saul, Besides). The answer would be “no”, but Esposito suggests that it would be harmful to underestimate the son of the dictator, presented as a central element of the Far Cry 6 storyline.
And yes you can stroke Chorizo, the adorable little dachshund mascot of ce 6e opus.
As a reminder, Far Cry 6 will be available on October 7 on PC, consoles Xbox and PlayStation.
