Elon Musk meets Tim Cook, after tackling Apple in connection with Twitter

Twitter boss Elon Musk met Apple boss Tim Cook today at Apple Park, the iPhone maker’s headquarters. He shared the news through a tweet.

Elon Musk Tim Cook

In son tweetElon Musk says: “Thank you Tim Cook for showing me around the beautiful Apple headquarters.” The message is accompanied by a video where the billionaire films the duck pond in Apple Park, which has already been seen in videos and photographs taken by Apple employees. The shadow at the end does seem to suggest it’s Tim Cook at his side (based on the glasses).

Elon Musk did not specify what were the topics of conversation between him and Tim Cook. However, we can suspect that this has something to do with his statements this week which targeted Apple.

Earlier this week, Elon Musk announced that he was going to war against Apple because of several elements. In particular, he revealed that Apple was threatening to remove the Twitter application from the App Store, “but they won’t tell us why”. Also, he announced that Apple has practically stopped advertising on the social network. “Do they hate free speech in America? asked Elon Musk. A final point criticized was the commission of 15% or 30% (30% in the case of Twitter) that Apple takes for each transaction passing through the App Store.
