End of confinement: cinemas reopen on May 19
During his speech on October 28, the President of the Republic Emmanuel Macron announced a tightening of government measures to fight against the spread of COVID-19. Then, over the next few months, rumors kept pouring in. At the beginning of November, a first rumor reported a reopening of theaters in mid-December. And despite a reopening of cinemas scheduled for December 15, the theaters had not reopened their doors.
Last night, Emmanuel Macron finally announced the reopening of cinemas in France. The date is therefore set since their doors will reopen on May 19. Besides, here is everything that will change on May 19, in addition to the reopening of cinemas:

- Reopening of shops
- Reopening of restaurant and bar terraces, table of 6 people maximum
- Reopening of museums, monuments, cinemas, theaters, performance halls with a seated audience (gauges of 800 indoors, 1000 outdoors)
- Reopening of outdoor and indoor sports facilities for spectators (800 indoors, 1000 outdoors)
- Resumption of sports activities in indoor and outdoor places with adapted protocols
- Gatherings of more than 10 people prohibited
