Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey is now playable at 60 FPS on Xbox Series S | X and PS5

While Sony, Activision and consort redouble their ingenuity to invoice next-gen optimization updates to players, Ubisoft continues to carry some of its games without requiring anything in return. Via patch 1.6 deployed this morning, players d’Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey can enjoy of a framerate of 60 FPS on Xbox Series and PlayStation 5.

This update adds 60 FPS support when running the game on Xbox Series X | S and PlayStation 5 through backward compatibility.

Well, in reality, this is not a real optimization update, since the patch notes a specific line qu’Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey will continue to go through backward compatibility, but it is always nice to be able to browse ancient Greece at 60 images per second.

A priori, the resolution and the technical aspect should remain the same, but a change in framerate already changes the situation quite a bit.
