Apple announces that the validation of applications on the App Store will continue during the Christmas period. The developers should however expect it to be a little slower between December 23 and 27.
Here’s what Apple just announced to iOS, macOS, watchOS and tvOS app developers:
The busiest season on the App Store is almost here! Make sure your apps and product pages are up to date and ready for the upcoming holidays. Once again this year, we are happy to remain open throughout the season and we look forward to accepting your proposals. On average, 90% of submissions are reviewed within 24 hours. However, exams may take a little longer from December 23 to 27.
In previous years, application validation was completely halted around Christmas time. Users could continue to download apps. But for their part, developers couldn’t submit apps let alone receive validation. They had to wait a few days.
That changed last year with app validation that was still going strong, but a little slower around Christmas time. History will repeat itself once again this year, as Apple announced to developers today.
