In Call of Duty: Warzone, cheaters remain a major issue as players wait for the new RICOCHET anti-cheat.
While new anti-cheat software will arrive in just a few weeks, hackers continue to poke fun at Activision by regularly posting clips on social media. This battle royale isn’t infested with cheaters today, but it has gotten worse and worse in recent months.
They feel more powerful than ever, not even hiding anymore. Some are no longer ashamed and stalk players across entire buildings, leaving no doubt about their intentions.
On Reddit, a player posted a video of him being in a Verdansk helicopter. After a few seconds, the helicopter totally exploded after being shot a few times.
Watching the killcam, he quickly realized the deception.
“There is a small chance that he is cheating”
Even through huge buildings, the opposing player could follow the helicopter and the players inside without a problem. In a way, it’s good news that the killcam system has been added to Warzone, because it lets you actually know how you got knocked out.
In another, it only infuriates you even more when you find out you were up against a cheater who left you with no chance of survival.
With the release of Season 1 of Vanguard and Warzone Pacific accompanied by a new anti-cheat, we hope that will change.
