There are many different things to do in Fallout 76. Most of these tasks will be in the form of quests, but some of them will be small challenges for you to finish. The Pioneer Scouts want to find new members.
If you join them, you’ll be asked to do different things to show that you’re a good candidate. You will have to do everything, from bringing a friend back to life to getting rid of pests. This guide will tell you how to pass the shooting test for Pioneer Scouts in Fallout 76.
How To Find The Pioneer Scout Shooting Test And Take It:
You have to participate the Pioneer Scouts before you can take the shooting test. Go to the Pioneer Scout Camp in the north of the map to do this. This place is where the tower is on the map, just north of the Grafton Dam.
When you get to the camp, talk to Mr. Handy Robot, who is to the left after you walk in. He will help you join the Boy Scouts.
After joining the scouts, go to the right when you enter the camp and proceed to the opposite side of the building that houses the mess hall. A small bridge will be in sight.
On the other side of the bridge is the shooting range. You will need a crossbow before you can start this test. You can get the plans for the crossbow from the shooting range, next to where the speaker box is.
Go to a place where you can make weapons and make a crossbow. If you don’t have the right materials or the Gunsmith perk, you could indeed quickly locate a crossbow in the following places.
- Southwest side of the Palace of the Winding Path
- In the Sons of Dane Compound’s locked storage room in the basement
- In the Bootlegger’s Shack’s basement
- In the Middle Mountain Cabins’ southern cabin,
Once you have a crossbow, talk to the person at the shooting range and the Pioneer Scouts shooting test will begin. Once the quest starts, you have one minute a half to hit each of the 5 targets in the area.
If you are a good scout and do this, you will get a reward. Don’t forget to do your camp chores so you can get a backpack.
