It is not a secret that fans of the Resident Evil series have been virtually asking Cap-com to include Jill Valentine in one of the major Resident Evil games again, but it is possible that they will have to make do with the movie for the time being. On Twitter, the former producer of the Resident Evil series, Hiroyuki Kobayashi, revealed that Jill is, in fact, the primary focus of the story-line of Resident Evil Death Island.

While there was a lot to dissect in Cap-com’s brief but spooky video, making the connection between it and the core Resident Evil game world may be difficult.
