This January 24 marks the availability of the new MacBook Pro with the M2 Pro and M2 Max chips, as well as that of the new Mac mini with the M2 and M2 Pro chips. Apple announced its portable Mac and desktop computer last week.
The first tests published yesterday showed that the new MacBook Pro M2 Pro and M2 Max have power. There is a gain of around 20% for the processor part (CPU) and around 30% for the graphics chip (GPU) compared to the M1 Pro and M1 Max chips. Testers confirmed that this portable Mac continues to deliver the best combination of performance and efficiency. Also note the support for Wi-Fi 6E and better autonomy.
The MacBook Pro M2 Pro starts at €2,399. The first price for the M2 Max model is €3,699. The computers will be available from Apple and several retailers, including Amazon, Fnac, Darty and Cdiscount.
Next comes the new Mac mini with the M2 and M2 Pro chips. The tests praised the silence of the machine, a seriously interesting power for the least expensive Mac of the range and a management of many heavy tasks without any particular problem.
The Mac mini M2 starts at €699 and the M2 Pro model starts at €1,549. It is possible to order them from Apple and retailers such as Amazon, Fnac, Darty or Cdiscount.
