Motorola’s launch event may be 15 days away, And the products expected to be launched at that event is Moto Z2 Force, which just appeared on AnTuTu benchmarking site confirming various specifications. But the details of devices that may be launched at it have started to leak.
The device in benchmark results has been identified as “Motorola XT1789-05”, and it packs latest Snapdragon 835 chipset along with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. AnTuTu also reveals that it has got a generous QHD display (resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels), 12mp primary camera and 5mp secondary camera. However, it’s also worth recalling that in previous leaks Moto Z2 Force was expected to come with a dual-camera setup on its back with dual-tone LED flash. Finally, it runs latest Android 7.1.1. Nougat OS, which is obvious for a device of premium category. You can see the benchmark listing below:
Moto Z2 Force will be the successor to last year’s Moto Z Force modular smartphone launched by the company. Like its predecessor, it’ll also support Moto Mods. And most interestingly, the smartphone is also rumored to come with ShatterShield screen, which is a technology developed by the company to protect the screen of the display in all those cases when our phone falls on the floor.
The device is expected to be launched at company’s July 25 launch event in New York, but still, nothing is confirmed as the invite sent by the company doesn’t give any hint about devices that’ll be launched.
The Launch Event and Devices That May be Launched
Lenovo, the parent company of Motorola brand, had just sent out press invites for a #HelloMotoWorld event on July 25 in New York. The invite didn’t say anything about the devices that may be launched, except for “you won’t want to miss this.”
Besides Moto Z2 Force other devices expected to see the light of day at the event include Moto X4 and Moto Z2. While nothing much is known about Z2 at this point, Moto X4 has leaked comprehensively in past. It’s rumored to come with a 5.2-inch Full-HD display, 2.2 GHz Snapdragon 630 processor, 4GB of RAM, 16mp front facing the camera and a dual camera setup with 12mp and 8mp shooters on its back. Dust and water resistance are other obvious features.
